Whether you are a new or existing customer operating with a CRMOnline, on-premise, or partner hosted deployment, Gap Consulting are committed to offering our extensive product knowledge to help make the transition to CRM2013 as smooth as possible while helping to realise the benefits that the new features bring.

This upgrade is a significant change and will require careful management and planning. Gap Consulting are introducing the following modular offerings with the introduction of CRM2013 due for release in Q4 2013. If you are under a support agreement with Gap Consulting we may be able to utilise your agreement to assist you with some of these items.

System Readiness Check; we will review the code in your environment to ensure that it meets the CRM2013 standards to support a fully automated upgrade. The review will also identify opportunities to simplify code utilising some of the new features of CRM2013 including synchronous workflows and entity business rules, which we believe will offer opportunities to remove hard to change customisation from the system such as plugins and JScript.

Form Re-design; Post the upgrade, your CRM2011 forms will continue to work within the new refreshed user interface as scrollable forms. With the redesign comes an opportunity to take advantage of the new layout options and controls such as quick views, Bing maps, and the social control. These can aid the end user in accessing the data they require more quickly and with less clicks.

Guided Business Processes Enablement; a great new feature of CRM2013 is the introduction of business process flows. Business process flows can be created via the process configuration area of Dynamics CRM and serve to guide the user through entering various fields and stage gates. Business process flows can enforce the creation of different records within the same process flow, and promote a more consistent data entry experience. Gap Consulting can provide assistance and guidance on the best way to utilise this new feature to increase user adoption, drive consistency and reduce on-going training costs.

User Training; we can deliver training to your users, superusers or trainers, to ensure the user is able to use the new user interface and can navigate easily around the system.

So, if you are a CRMOnline user be sure to act in good time prior to your scheduled upgrade date and contact us today to arrange a system readiness check.

Onpremise and partner hosted users can choose the right moment to upgrade but be sure to take advantage of this exciting release and stay ahead of the curve.
