Workflow Executor updated to bulk cancel or resume system jobs

Here at Gap Consulting we have decided to enhance our free community tool ‘The workflow executor’ (for CRM2011, CRM2013 and 2015) to be able to choose a system job view then cancel or resume the system jobs contained within that view that have a status reason of waiting.

Digital Asset Management for marketers can be a very challenging aspect of their marketing duties. Producing digital assets to the standard expected by large organisations is no mean feat and it takes an iterative approach between internal peers and external vendors to ensure that the digital collateral is delivered correctly. MDM provides the ability to manage folders of multimedia content. These digital assets can be developing media or completed media products, which are annotated across the organisation and user roles. In MDM the media buyer security role has a large number of authorisation permissions.

Set Image attribute in CRM2013 with synchronous custom workflow

The CRM2013 SDK allows the image field to be set programmatically so with this in mind, we created a new custom workflow activity that can be found in our Workflow Essentials solution which allows the user to update the image field in a workflow using an image web resource.

Left Outer Joins in CRM2013

A common requirement in previous versions of CRM was to have views which showed lists of records that DIDN’T have a particular child record. The good news is that in CRM2013 it is now technically possible to create system views that show records that do not have a particular child record.
