Upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 to 2011 and benefit now!


Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 customers with valid Microsoft Software Assurance are entitled to upgraded software, so they are eligible to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 when it is released in February 2011 (for on premise customers). You will require a Partner such as Gap Consulting to carry out the upgrade, and this can be done in as little as 4 days, allowing time to test run your upgrade a number of times in a test environment. How do I know if my Microsoft Software Assurance is valid?

When you buy Microsoft Dynamics CRM from the Open Licence Program, you generally buy 2 years Software Assurance as part of the licence price. Software Assurance has many benefits including elearning, access to CustomerSource, Microsoft's home use program and software upgrades. After 2 years, your Microsoft Partner will contact you to renew this optional cover for a further 2 years, thus protecting your IT investment and allowing you to keep it current.

Your Microsoft Partner will be able to tell you if your Software Assurance is still valid, but if you are not able to contact them, please contact Gap Consulting and we will check for you.
