The Gap Consulting focus


We have held a Partnership with Microsoft since 2001.

Back then, our partnership was necessary to support our Microsoft infrastructure skills and later in 2007, after focusing our business on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, we were awarded Microsoft Gold Partner status for Customer Relationship Management. We are a Microsoft Managed Partner which means we retain a close relationship, and actively participate in Microsoft testing, training and sales programs.

In 2015, Gap Consulting was the first company in the UK to achieve Microsoft Gold Partner status for Cloud CRM. Also during this year, we were asked to join the Microsoft P-Seller Community, allowing us to sell with Microsoft in significant strategic projects.

Now working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement solutions, we continue to be very proud of our Microsoft Partnership, and leverage this relationship to bring the very best information, solutions and services to Gap Consulting customers.

For many years, Gap Consulting developed self-service portals for Microsoft Dynamics CRM using .NET. In 2011, after market research and a selection process, we decided to work with Adxstudio and their Adxstudio Portals software. We quickly achieved ISV status, delivering Adxstudio Portal solutions in Event, HR, Training and IT Service Management for many high profile customers. The Adxstudio team were innovative, enhancing their solutions in response to customer and Partner needs.

In 2015, Microsoft bought Adxstudio, validating our decision to work with this platform and also increasing customer interest in portal self-service. During 2016, Microsoft released it's first Online Portals in Dynamics CRM based on Adxstudio and more recently, in Microsoft Dynamics 365. What was Adxstudio is now fully absorbed into Microsoft Corp, with all future releases being part of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.

Whilst our partnership with Adxstudio as was has ended, we are delighted to drive on with our portal work. We have many years business and technical experience in portal delivery, and want to see more and more customers open self-service channels through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online Portals.
