Michael Jarvis


Michael's a Software Engineer at heart; following a BSc degree in Software Engineering, Michael worked on solving business problems through the analysis, design, and implementation of software systems targeting the Microsoft technology stack.  With a knowledge of global distributed enterprise systems, networking, software development, and the full Microsoft technology stack, he joined Gap Consulting in 2000.

In his time at Gap Consulting, Michael has contributed to over 100+ CRM customer projects.  When involved in a customer delivery project, Michael now works as a lead solutions architect, where responsibilities include performance, scalability, and operational robustness for Gap Consulting’s project delivery.

As Gap Consulting’s Technical Director, Michael enjoys a customer facing role which leads from initial engagement through to operational support.  Michael has responsibility for the operational support service, and development practise in Gap Consulting.  His focus is on technology and how customers release business benefits through successful project delivery.

Michael’s background as a software engineer and solutions architect give him the necessary tools to shape Gap Consulting’s Manager Suite, the portal-based xRM solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Other interests

Michael is based in Cheshire, and enjoys a busy family life with his wife and two young children, and any spare time being filled with a round of golf at the local club.
