Andy’s background is in Financial Services technology; he left Barclays in 1999 to set up Gap Consulting with Trev White and Mark Hatcher. In his final role at Barclays Andy was responsible for programmes focussed on systems and service management, deploying Tivoli and Siebel, and previously spent time in strategic planning and operations areas.
As Gap Consulting’s Managing Director, Andy is responsible for overall business strategy, the development of client and partner relationships and new business development. Gap is a managed Microsoft partner, and consequently Andy spends a lot of time working with Microsoft to ensure Gap’s propositions are current and well aligned to the Microsoft Dynamics CRM roadmap.
Andy’s focus is the business application and benefits of CRM, rather than the underlying technology. He is also very involved with the development of Gap’s Manager suite, the portal-based xRM solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
Anyone who knows Andy will be familiar with his passion for rugby, and he currently coaches Crewe & Nantwich RFC, which tends to fills his evenings and weekends outside work, alongside his family.
