Gap Consulting achieve Gold Competency in CRM

 

We are delighted to announce that we are one of the first UK partners to have achieved the new Microsoft Partner Network Gold Customer Relationship Management (CRM) competency. Gold status is the highest level of accreditation in the Microsoft Partner Network launched in October 2010.

Andy Dudley, Managing Director at Gap Consulting commented: “We very much welcome the change to the Microsoft Partner Network as it allows specialist firms such as Gap Consulting to clearly and objectively demonstrate our expertise, investment and experience in CRM which set us apart in the market place, making a very clear statement to customers. We will continue our investment in CRM and associated technologies in the coming year”.

The membership structure of the new Microsoft Partner Network is dramatically different; the new Silver and Gold competency model reflects an organisation’s specific capabilities, replacing the former levels of Gold Certified, Certified and Registered Member which were based at the generic organisation level. This allows the partner to clearly demonstrate their expertise to the prospective customer in 29 specialist competency areas.

A partner wishing to earn a Silver competency must achieve success in relevant exams, provide customer references and be able to demonstrate the strength of the Microsoft expertise in the company through Microsoft Certified Professionals. In itself, this is a significant investment, but the new Gold competency level sets a much higher bar, requiring more evidence of skills and achievements in the specialist area, including additional levels of certification, exam requirements, positive customer satisfaction surveys and additional customer references.

Partners who achieve Gold status will represent an elite group of Partner organisations that have demonstrated the highest, most consistent capability and commitment within their specialist solutions. 

Gap Consulting will continue to develop CRM expertise and also seek to enhance our position in other related competencies by converting our other Silver competencies to Gold during 2011.
